I grew up at my mother's family's produce store, W.F. Ryan's Produce in Albany, NY, running into the coolers to observe the latest delivery of fruits and vegetables, excitedly greeting customers on the phone starting at age five and mostly admiring my grandmother's, Mary Ryan, work ethic and celebrating her success throughout my teens as she won awards and received recognition for being a top female business leader in our community.

On April 4, 2022, in honor of 1 year of my grandmother's passing, I planted my first garden from seeds at my apartment in Nyack, NY and my dreams for owning and managing a farm grew more and more.

On April 4, 2023, I closed on 60 acres of land, and a blueberry farm and apple orchard in Mayfield, NY. The farm is located up the mountain road from Mayfield Town Beach at Great Sacandaga Lake a historic and environmentally critical infrastructure that also provides entertainment, recreation and natural amusement to the local community and serves as a vacation destination. The farm resides within the Adirondack Park in New York State and includes Oak and Hickory Forests, Elm, Ash and Cottonwood Forests, deforested Pine Forests and meadows previously used to grow sweet corn and harvested for hay. The soils are fine sandy loam in the blueberry patch, silt loam and loamy sand around the apple orchard, and silty clay loam in the meadows and forests.

I have completed Debra Silverman Astrology, Applied Astrology, Level 1 and Level 2.
